SARMs Legal Status in the United Arab Emirates (2025 Guide)
In the United Arab Emirates (UAE), SARMs (Selective Androgen Receptor Modulators) are strictly regulated as unauthorised medicinal products by the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP). It is illegal to market, sell, possess, or consume SARMs for human use without a licensed medical prescription.
SARMs are also considered prohibited substances under UAE anti-doping and public health laws. The UAE enforces strict controls on supplements and performance-enhancing drugs, and possession or import of SARMs can result in fines, imprisonment, or deportation.
That said, SARMs can still be legally acquired for laboratory research purposes if correctly labelled “not for human consumption” and with appropriate research documentation.
