SARMs Legal Status in France (2025 Guide)
In France, SARMs (Selective Androgen Receptor Modulators) are classified as unauthorised medicinal products when intended for human consumption. Under French law and European Medicines Agency (EMA) guidance, SARMs cannot be marketed, sold, or distributed for personal use or as dietary supplements.
However, SARMs are not classified as narcotics or controlled substances. They may be purchased and sold strictly for laboratory research purposes, provided that products are properly labelled as “not for human consumption”.
